Present As Future is the second half of a two-year speaker series that began last year with Past as Prologue: Time, History and the Visual Arts. The aim is to increase public understanding of the role of contemporary art in helping us recognize the critical issues of the present-day, by redressing our record of the past and postulating ideas for the future.
The School of Art Visiting Artist and Scholar lecture series is made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Edward J.
